The whistleblowing system

We at NLB believe that responsible corporate governance is more than just respecting the laws, regulations, and standards. Transparency and integrity are important elements of our daily business.

The NLB reporting system for harmful conduct is intended for all stakeholders who identify an action that could cause harm to the bank or its employees. It is important that such conduct is reported promptly to the competent units within the bank, as this is the only way to ensure appropriate action and prevent or at least mitigate potential damage.

Reporting harmful behavior

In case of suspected harmful behavior in NLB, the following reporting channels (including anonymously) are in place:

  • electronically via Whistler web application
  • via regular mail: NLB d.d. Ljubljana, Trg republike 2, 1520 Ljubljana, for SPKI - Do not open!

Once a report is received, a structured handling process is initiated, in accordance with the Rules on the Investigation of Suspicions of Harmful Conduct to the Detriment of NLB d.d. and the NLB Group and the Protection of Whistleblowers (registration of the report, a preliminary report, the collection of additional information, the investigation and the provision of feedback to the whistleblower).

Throughout the entire process, all activities are carried out in compliance with internal rules, while strictly respecting the principles of confidentiality and the protection of the whistleblower.
