As she explains, the banking sector is undergoing profound change, and this dynamic environment presents significant HR challenges. On the one hand, banks must continually enhance the skills and expertise of their employees; on the other, they must constantly seek new talent, often for profiles that are in short supply on the labour market.
At NLB, we have addressed these challenges through a policy of continuous learning, combined with a strong focus on employees’ personal development and a healthy work–life balance. These aspects were highlighted by the Top Employer Institute as particularly important, citing examples such as NLB’s in-house Training Centre with over 50 years of tradition, the integration of AI-related skills, new leadership development programmes, the introduction of additional health insurance (Specialist) for all employees, a psychological counselling programme, and other initiatives.
