Join us to co-create a region full of opportunities

South Eastern Europe may sometimes seem a somewhat forgotten part of our continent. But there are companies in this region that care about its development and welfare. We even call it our home. We believe in this region with all our heart and want it to develop, as there is so much more that we have in common than what can be seen at first glance. However, in order to be able to recognize and develop its potential, we must constantly invest in the development of our employees. This has been confirmed by the Top Employer Institute for seven years in a row.

The Top Employer certificate is awarded to employers who put their employees first and see them as the most important value that enables the company’s long-term success. The certificate ensures that the company focuses on a quality relationship with its employees throughout their entire life cycle, that is, from the first job interview to the decision for a career transition and new professional challenges. This is especially important in the uncertain times we are currently experiencing. The recipients of the certificate have shown that we put the well-being of our employees first.

As a family-friendly company, we make it easier to balance the private and professional lives of our employees. Among other things, we enable them to do this by working from home, which also contributes to reducing the carbon footprint generated during transport to work.

Employees especially appreciate having endless opportunities for personal development and learning. In 2021, employees devoted more than 74,000 hours to training, and we also implemented 8 programmes for physical and mental health and personal growth. We also encourage and enable self-learning with the Udemy for Business platform, where more than 5,000 online trainings are available to employees.

We are actively developing an organisational culture that builds on elements of collaboration. We measured the current state of organisational culture and listened to employees where we still need to improve as an employer. We also measure engagement every year and introduce the necessary improvements. At the same time, we want to empower managers who are the key driver of change in the company. Another special group of employees are talents, whom we regularly identify and enable them to develop and learn also outside their field of work. We are introducing all these HR practices in order to become an attractive employer beyond the boundaries of banking – for atypical banking profiles, as we are more and more becoming an IT company,” highlights Vesna Vodopivec, general manager of Human Resources and Organisation Development.

It is the wide range of advanced HR practices, also recognized by the Top Employers Institute, that allows our employees to co-create the latest trends in the financial industry. Working with the state-of-the-art technologies and the opportunity to learn from the best in a highly professional team helps employees realize the exceptional potential of our customers. We can therefore support them all the time with innovative solutions and expert advice. In this way, we strengthen the stability of the economy, stimulate growth and take care of what matters most to them. Join us and lets create a region full of opportunities together.
