Supervisory Board of NLB Skladi and Kruno Abramovič agree on termination of his CEO function

Supervisory Board of NLB Skladi and Kruno Abramovič, CEO, have agreed on termination of his function on 15 February 2023.  The Supervisory Board already appointed a new CEO, Luka Podlogar, who will assume the function on 16 February 2023 upon obtaining the necessary licences. Blaž Bračič remains to be a member of the Management Board.

Kruno Abramovič has successfully run NLB Skladi for 13 years.

“It has been and interesting and versatile business path, which I am very proud of, as together with the team of NLB Skladi and NLB Private Banking we have attained remarkable results. I would like to thank you all and each and every one of you for excellent collaboration and engagement. After over 20 years of work for the NLB Group I have decided it is time to take on new challenges outside the Group.”

Supervisory Board of NLB Skladi thanked Abramovič for successful performance of his function and wished him all the success in his new career. Under his leadership NLB Skladi has become the largest mutual fund management company as well as the largest asset management company by total assets under management. Despite the very demanding and uncertain times, the company maintains its primacy and popularity, as it achieves high net payments and boasts a market share of as much as 38.16% among Slovenian mutual fund management companies, while it was 14.25% at the end of 2009.

Abramovič will continue to perform his function of the CEO of NLB Skladi by 15 February 2023, when he will hand it over to Luka Podlogar, who is currently the CEO of Generali Investments.

Luka Podlogar is an outstanding expert with extensive international experience, including more than 15 years in management. He worked as an investment banker in London, joined the KD Group in the autumn of 2010, and in 2012 took over the management of Generali Investments, one of the leading management companies in Slovenia and Central and South-Eastern Europe. All of the above is a guarantee that he can actively contribute to further successful operations and future development of NLB Skladi.
