NLB Website Scoops Two Websi Awards

Big news from our digital corner: our new website just scooped two Websi awards - Best Website and Best UX.

It all started with a simple strategic insight: our clients need information that are quick to find, are clear, verified and easy to understand. That thinking shaped the launch of NLB website in June 2024. Since then, we have rolled out a whole family of sites across the Group - NLB Komercijalna Banka website, NLB Group wbsite, NLB Banka Banja Luka website, NLB Banka Sarajevo website, NLB Banka Podgorica website, NLB Buy&Go website, three NLB Lease&Go websites on three different markets, and BLB Skladi website. And you know what – two more just went live these days: NLB Banka Priština and NLB Banka Skopje websites.

Our websites are no longer just a window into the bank – they are an extension of our strategy, providing visitors with a great browsing experience and easy-to-understand content, and more. We are very proud that the Websi Awards – the most reputable recognition for digital projects in Slovenia – saw this. However, while awards are nice – very nice –, what makes us proudest is that these sites are already helping our clients find, click, and do what they need faster and more smoothly.
Andrej Krajner, Brand and Communications Director at the NLB Group
Launching the awarded nlb.si was just the warm-up - in just a few months, we rolled out an entire ecosystem of sites across the Group. It was a sprint-marathon hybrid, but the result is worth it: websites that work for people, not against them. From plain-language content to calculators that actually help, we built it all so visitors can get what they need without having to speak complicated banking language.
Erik Renko, Head of Digital Marketing at NLB d.d. and Product Owner

At the NLB Group we therefore like our websites the way we like our banking: clear, reliable, and easy to use. And if a jury of digital experts thinks that’s worth celebrating – we will happily raise a glass to that.
